Announcements of the Year 2014

Veith Offenbächer is going to leave Dawn of Destiny

Farewell show: 7th of February at Joe's

Veith Offenbächer

With tears in our eyes we have to announce that Veith Offenbaecher is going to leave Dawn Of Destiny after more than 8 years in the beginning of 2015! Due to that we declare the concert in Oer Erkenschwick to Veith's farewell gig. We will miss his guitar skills as well as his friendship to all of us! All the best for your future!!!

Though it will be very hard to find an appropriate replacement we look now for a new guitarist! So if you believe you fit humanly and musically to Dawn Of Destiny, contact us!

Veith's Statement:

I would like to emphasis that my departure from DoD has nothing to do neither with personal problems with a band member nor with musical indifferences or whatever. Family and I will move to Sweden end of february 2015 which makes it obviously impossible to continue with this great band with a distance of 2000 km between us. I'm already missing my dear friends and band mates Jens, Dirk, Jeanette and the new guy Philipp. During 8 years, 5 albums, 3 tours and 40.000 km travelling together we shared a lot.

Thread at the Heavy-Metal-Heaven-Forum

The author draws a comparison to the previous album 'Praying to the World'. With this he continues up to the conclusion: »F.E.A.R. will no doubt be a surprise to fans of their previous work but once one gets over the shock that the lack of power metal in the album brings it's pretty clear that Dawn of Destiny have produced a really accomplished album that is catchy but full of epic progressive metal instrumentation...«.
